The Custom Consist Creator has been flawed for a long time. If you have a defective reskin and you try to select it the game will fail. Happens to everyone. Before trying to make the custom consist go to a route in the game and try putting the same vehicles in a consist. If it works in a route it should work in the consist creator
Not so much repaints, but consist preload.bins. Run LogMate and delete all invalid blueprints the logfile shows.
