What if selfmade formations from the formation designer would be available in timetable mode? It would enable us (e.g.) to drive an ÖBB Intercity with 1st class coaches (per livery) without having to create a scenario (if the Bmz coaches were available in the formation designer). Obviously you could use it in free roam, but since there are no passengers getting on and off the train, it is often quite boring. Since you can choose liveries in timetable mode, this should be doable. Thank you.
I think the issue here comes from the actual formation set up. if I recall correctly, back to the days prior to the Class 313 releasing for East Coastway, to enable a loco to be substituted it must have the same number of coaches. The Seaford and Lewes services were initially operated by a Class 377, formed of 4 coaches. The Class 313 is formed of 3 coaches hence why a new timetable was required. With the fact that there are so many endless possibilities with the release of formation designer, I imagine it would be extremely difficult and time consuming to keep up and enable things like this for timetable mode, as much as it would be nice.
I have created a kind of "camel hump formation" like those that travel between Wien Westbahnhof and St Polten for example - Taurus + dosto coach + 3 N-Wagen coaches + dosto cab car a shame I cant drive it on Austrian routes in timetable
