Now hear me out, Now we have free roam and all the other cool bits that go with it, surly the next step would to be able to customise the current timetable? Let me explain, the game always has a set timetable, made by the developers of a route, how about add a feature where we can change what trains are running that route, change names of the routes, add head codes and delete and add certain services (i.e if you change a loco hauled stock to a multiple unit so you don't need the shunter to move the cartridges). It's basically a upgraded scenario planner but a all day scenario planner. I know this would pretty much render the scenario planner obsolete, but I would
I would love to see a create your own timetable mode, especially if it wasn’t overly limited in what you can do. But the way DTG does them as of now would be quite extensively different to the way us players would do so in a similar way to Scenario designer, so definitely wouldn’t be a simple give them access to current set up. it’s probably quite complicated to make an in game designer for one.
I want this so bad as im a console player I dont have access to the timetable mods available and would love to create up to date timetables of the routes i play. But scenario editor is so limited
Can you not create two separate posts where you quote and reply the same thing. Use the edit button if you need to change your original post.
Actually you can already do all of this, and open up the full route including all sidings etc, using the PC Editor to make a new timetable. It is quite good fun but, beware, if you want to make a busy full 24 hour timetable it will take quite a bit of work to get it running smoothly. This, alone, can quickly become a new obsession.
This should definitely be the next new feature. Custom Timetables should be the key headline feature in TSW5, including sharing them on creators club. Console Players really are limited especially on older routes that means we can't see things passing which have been released in later dlc. For example, Azumas at Edinburgh. It would also need to allow Custom liveries to be used so that we can add creators club liveries into the timetable, for example, Northern 150/158 at Manchester or Doncaster and Avanti Azumas at Birmingham etc.
This would go hand in hand with a feature to disable which liveries show on certain routes etc. I.e. stopping LNER HST on GWE etc.
You Could use it on the WCL to replace the awful 150's with the new ones and use hst's - they should make it so you can use custom liveries for the timetable.
