The Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad (D&RGW) runs through the rugged Rocky Mountains of Colorado and Utah. The D&RGW is famous for their extensive network of narrow gauge lines (parts now operating as tourist railways), the California Zephyr passenger train, and flashy black and orange diesel locomotives. The railroad is also famous for some of the most spectacular scenery in the US. I'd like DTG to add a route they made for TS Classic: Soldier Summit: Provo-Helper, UT. Soldier Summit is a 69 mile long route, so that's doable in game. As this is mostly a freight route, I don't think it will happen for a while (but it should!). Here's what I would want in a TSW4/TSW5 version of the route (besides the awesome scenery!): -Possible time periods: -1960s-70s or -1990s (same as TSC version) -Possible Locos (2-3): -D&RGW GP30 -D&RGW GP40-2 -D&RGW SD40T-2 -D&RGW GP60 -D&RGW SD45 -D&RGW SD50 -D&RGW SW1200 -D&RGW SD9 "Cadillac" -D&RGW GP9 -Amtrak F40PH w/ CZ Superliner Passenger Consist (in 1990s version) -D&RGW CZ consist with Alco PAs or F7A/Bs (in 1960s-70s version) -Possible DLCs: -Extension to Salt Lake City (an extra 44 miles) -SP or UP diesel power (mid-late 1990s): -SD70M -C44-9W -AC4400CW -SD40/SP SD40R -SD45(R) -SD9(E) -SD45T-2 -SD40-2 (UP) -SD50 -SD60 -GP60 -GP50 -C40-8 -C40-8W/C41-8W -U30C -U36C -B40-8 -B39-8 -UP DDA40X -UP/SP DD35/UP DD35A -P42DC Genesis for CZ
DTG have stated they are no longer looking at heavy haul US freight. Class One Railroads no longer granting access for research, survey of locos and cabs etc.
