Dartmouth a small town at the mouth of the river dart.A scenic railway of the great western with 3 viaducts and great views of the sandy beaches with the whistles echoing through the moors of the English Riviera.Originally designed for a bridge over from Kingswear to Dartmouth this was cancelled and replaced with passenger ferries.Recently celebrating 50 years of preservation.

    Timetable
Trains are about 30 minutes each direction so why not include the run around so you arrive at the same place you began making trips about an hour.

Nice suggestion but lengthwise a bit short. Would be better recreating Riviera Line in the 50’s from TSC Exeter through to Kingswear and Brixham, or the ultimate early 60’s with the twilight of steam meeting the rise of the diesel hydraulics.

But if they did do the Rivera Line in the 60’s when is it set because most people want the Brixham Branch which closed in 1963 and also Kingswear branch closed in 1964

This is the way to go. Set it in the 50's with a GWR Castle and Grange, quickly followed up by a pannier tank loco DLC. Then they could also do a Diesel Legends style DLC with 60's style diesel hydraulics and a 60's timetable ;)

The Kingswear branch was closed by BR in October 1972 and purchased in December the same year as the preserved line we know today.

I’d really love to see the Riviera Line at any point in time. It’s where I’m originally from.

A remake of the Riviera Line in the 50’s would be great. It’s a good route in TSC and could look fantastic in TSW.

In an ideal world I’d like a route including Newton Abbot as it was in the 70’s and 80’s as that’s how I remember it when I was train spotting, but I appreciate that that may only suit me!

Riviera line in the 50’s or 60’s
    Mix of diesels and steam.
It starts in the great cathedral city of Exeter, continues to the traditional seaside towns of Dawlish and Teignmouth and ends on the English Riviera, which boasts over 20 miles of coastline and offers a wealth of natural delights as well as a wide array of fun-filled family activities.
