2 Questions regarding the DB 110 Is their any coach light switch in the Cab do they provide light/electricity to dostos coaches ?, the cab car of dostos is on with lights/pis but the other coaches are off with lights/pis and the dostos interior light controls don’t do anything for this
I can’t answer for the 110 but when I have Dostos with only some of the coaches lit up on other routes I have to go inside them and use the light switch inside. That then makes them all light up. There is a panel on the middle landing by the gangway at one end of each coach. Open it to find the switch.
IIRC, the 110, at least when built did not have a bus bar (HEP) to provide juice to the coaches- notice that the included n-Wagen are of the ABnr and Bnr types, not the ABnrz and Bnrz (the "z" stands for bus power)- these older coaches were equipped with axle generators, so each one was a self-contained unit for electric power. The lights were controlled locally by the guard. So there's no central system to have a central switch for.
I had a try of the panel and dostos cab car switch but nothing occured I even gave a couple and uncouple of the 110 a try as a reset but nope all but cab car was dark
