    Sorry for the ping :)

Which versions of the DB BR 143 are available and where?
I mean RSN vs improved DRA vs DCZ
Is DCZ version the same as DRA? // or with additional improvements?

    I ask because of...

The same goes for the Dostos. Please DTG finally give each of these duplicates their own Name.

Instead of make it complicated it would just be better to have 1 updated version. DLCs are increasing, and this 20 different types of the same loco is not efficient in any way. Also that its not possible to overwrite the old locos on any route with the newest version isnt a practical solution right now.

Thats up to dtgs development process.

That doesn't work when there are different liveries. The VVO Dostos belong on Riesa-Dresden, but nowhere else. With the upcoming package we will have (at last!) 423s in both München and Köln S-Bahn paint. These have to be kept distinct.

Look at the destination displays. If they have a grey rectangle, they’re newer trains.

Why have the RSN BR 143 as a drivable train in the first place

I think it's has to be in the game for the RSN scenarios and tutorial to work. But it would be great if DTG could lock the RSN 143 to just those that it's required to. The same goes for the 185.2s and 185.5s and Dostos. I think there are now 3 or 4 versions of 766.2

Hopefully the RSN preservation update will remove the old 143 without causing any problems with scenarios and tutorials. I'm fine with the 185 variants as all of them pretty much have a different repaint, but there needs to be more Dosto variety

It would be handy if the 143 and other locos would be separate entities to routes and if you own a route that comes with it then you get access to that one 143

would be big help with the Gen 4 dostos we are all familiar with also

Good point they're all 766.2 767.2 with 780 low platform door versions if you see S-Bahn Dresden paint on the sides while playing RRO RSN Riesa-Dresden DB BR143 Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen Main Spessart Bahn to replace the Old DB BR146.2 and Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg then you have a Riesa-Dresden version installed.

I just drove the route Hagen - Finnentrop for the first time on BR 143 and I get confused. Half of the switches don't work - compared to the version of Reis - Dresden DLC.
DTG created two BR 143, or BR 143 from Hagen - Finnentrop was an early version?

Yes, Ruhr Sieg Nord Hagen-Finnentrop was the second German Route published by DTG back then.
