As you can see that it is showing the brakes are on even the brakes are off in cab.
The three dots on the side are red even that they shall be green when the brakes are off as I am driving it when took this photo.

    This needs a solution.

Why does it need a solution?
It would be a lot more work when the loco was made to animate the brake indicators that most people won't even see.
If the Brakes don't actually release that is a problem - this is not.

And there is so much more in the cab that could be animated and is not - like the display screen on the left side of the speedo

I know there needs a lot of fixes on a lot of locos in this game but as I was driving this loco I noticed that about the brake indicators.

I was driving the RailJet and noticed the Brake indicators all showed Red but to change that would need extra animation and as it does not affect he game play I don't think it is that important.

I think you will have a lot of European Coaches that also show the Brake condition - how many of those work?

Everything that can move - like the brake indicators or switches in the Cab needs to be animated, so it needs a script and that adds stuff to the loco. Look at the DTG TGV Duplex most of the switches in the cab don't work.

I think stuff you would use, like a switch, is more important than stuff you only look at.

Don't dig too deep. Sometimes consists break apart and you don't even notice because the train doesn't go to emergency although all air should be bleeding off. The deepness of the simulation depends on the DLC. With Bossman Games, AP, VictoryWorks and Searchlight Simulations DLC you have many more details simulated than with stuff by some other developers. I personally wouldn't bother with those markings. But I have to admit, interesting find!;)
