Can you run this locomotive directly on Train Sim World® 6 Training Center
or do you have to buy a track as well?

 

You can, but to be honest, you will have a much better experience if you also buy a route to play it on.

Also keep in mind that the Br 294 is a payed DLC and not included in the free TSW6 starter pack.
