Hi, 1st proposition: Linke Rheinstrecke could really use a loco-DLC for IR-trains. I propose: DB BR 120 in orientrot with IR-coaches: DB BR 120: DB UIC-X-Wagen (in 1st and 2nd class versions): And the cab-car: Some people might recognize the cab-car, as the hotly discussed missing cab-car in the BR101-DLC: There was also a version in IC-colours: As this DLC with 1 Loco, 1 1st class-coach, 1 2nd class-coach and 1 cab-car would probably be too expensive to produce completely, I have a second DLC to propose, which would reuse the UIC-X-Wagen: 2nd proposition: AKE Rheingold. This DLC could add railtour-layers on all modern German routes: AKE BR 110: (authorized up to 160 km/h) would need a repaint: TEE-Wagen: Restaurant coach: Dome car: This DLC would not need much work on the loco. Only small changes for one coach, and bigger changes for the other 2. The BR 103 from Mainz-Koblenz could substitute for the BR 110.
While I really, really like the Idea and the effort you put into this, I think it's about time we get a new freight loco, the last one we got was, let me think, the 155 from the initial RSN DLC. And I hear you thinking, what about the 182, what about the 185, what about the 187 and so on. The 185 wasn't new, as it was with the initial game launch. The 182 got introduced as a passenger loco, then got reused for freight. And the 187 is a copy of a 185. At least that's what it was at launch. So, what am I proposing. Something, which fit's the timeframe and is also a freight loco, but can be reused for passenger stuff as well, the DB BR 152. It was an early development for the longer and heavier freight trains, and while it was earlier built than the 185, it has more power, and thus is able to pull heavier trains. Over the years it's made it's own place in the hearts of many Locomotive drivers in Germany, mine included, with the manual gauges, the sound, where you can actually hear it working or the fans. Overall I think it would be a nice and welcoming addition to the thin German freight locos of TSW, and the first new one in a couple of years.
My suggestion was mostly for a loco-DLC for Mainz-Koblenz, and the second was to warrant making the different coaches. Linke Rheinstrecke is not really a freight line, freight trains usually pass on the right side. The problem with the BR 152 is, that it looks and feels like a Traxx, and people want something different. So, if a new freight loco, I would propose the BR 151: And there are lots of different possible liveries (green, blue/creme, orientred, verkehrsred). Some even had Unicouplers (AK69e) for very heavy iron ore trains.
Bring it on and for the 120 it should unlock a special KWG timetable which brings us to 1988 when it went over KWG to Fulda. Home to the Fulda Gap
