question about decal pack. i see on Purchasing Train Sim World 4 - All You Need To Know page there 2 decal pack when you get the deluxe edition of tsw4. is the first decal pack the one that came with tsw3 Deluxe edition?
Similar concept, new decal packs, not tsw3 ones. But we won't know what it is until tsw4 actually releases
Do these show up separately in Livery Editor so we know what the extras are or are they subsumed into all the others?
The new decal packs are seamlessly integrated into the Livery Designer, just like previous Mastery Rewards. There's some fun new additions, logos, signs, images, shapes etc...
To be more specific, here is what is included with pack 1 and 2. Pack 0 is included with every version of TSW 4. Pack 0 Pack 1 Pack 2
I have a livery to update with the official logo, I take it means underground is a secure licence and won’t be at risk of being removed from CC for licensing reasons. though on a side question, what happens when downloading a livery from CC when it contains decals you don’t own ?
I've been playing around with the livery editor, back in TSW 2. All I could do was put a couple of stickers and paint the locomotive black( Not my thing, sad =(
I had no idea. Got me dreaming of Carlisle to Glasgow with Avanti Pendos and TPE 397s with a DRS Class 68 DLC to operate out of Kingmoor depot. Seems a waste not to use the licence.
I think there is no problem because AFAIK you do not download a blueprint for the livery and then use each individual decal from your collection to make the livery. You download the end result as a texture that is applied to the train model, if that makes any sense.
separate licence issue to be had, underground has been around since TSW2 but it wasn’t on the list of licences that are allowed to be on CC, likewise with ICE it thought DB is on livery editor now, can’t remember exactly on that one
