A quick way to deal with the empty, dead look of so many TSW freight yards: freight cars which are constructed as static assets, like buildings, without physics models, to fill out the sidings. This actually has already been done: in LIRR, there is a yard full of immobile Amtrak coaches which are only modeled visually.
