Hi all. I am writing this in regards to delays, it would be great to add signal failures or other types that would cause disruptions to service where you could be sat at a signal or there could be some sort of delay that would make you late to your arrival time, I know this may be boring but makes it more interesting to train sim but to make it more realistic they could do delays or cancellation so you have to make up the time.
I get the idea and some scenarios have something like this over various dlc. A 710 timetable bringing it into service on the WCML has you sat there ages; you can walk away, make your breakfast,get a bath. That would require a massive a.i. program to adjust all the a.i. trains on the same timetable otherwise it would grind to a complete halt, with no way to finish the timetable. If you really like waiting for a amber or green. LIRR V2 dlc would be a great choice for you; it's chaos at some times of the day on timetable.
lol or 18:37 Flixtrain service from Fulda to Frankfurt, where you get held up by a queue of trains because somewhere far a 628 takes a munch break lol... then you are like yaaay finally moving... and you get to somewhere around Hanau, where you get to another queue of trains, this time blocked from the other direction for good lol ... I know it is probably a bug, but I decided I will try and wait it out, but my patience ran out when an originally 50mins service got extended to almost 3hrs XD
Honestly it would not be an exciting feature at all, unless you enjoy sitting there doing nothing for however long it takes for things to start moving, often knowing less than the passengers behind you know!
