The Route This route partially uses the "Brabantroute" which is from Eindhoven to Dordrecht and the "Oude Lijn" from Den Haag to Dordrecht via Rotterdam. This route has a variety of station both large and small and includes the Kijfhoek freight yard, which has trains going to Germany, Belguim and beyond. Some of these even use the Brabantroute. Services What would make this route so interesting are it's services, which a few examples being: 1100 series IC Den Haag-Rotterdam-Breda(-Eindhoven) 1800 series ICD Breda-Rotterdam(-Schothorst) 3500 series SPR Den Haag-Rotterdam-Dordrecht 6600 series SPR Dordrecht-Breda(-Arnhem) 2200 series IC (Amsterdam-)Den Haag-Rotterdam-Dordrecht(-Vlissingen) Rolling Stock The rolling stock that would be able to be used are the SNG, which us already made for the Zwolle-Groningen route. These would be used on the 10 minute Sprinter services between Den Haag and Dordrecht. Then you can have the ICNG which would be used on the IC Direct from Breda-Rotterdam and Breda-Den Haag, which would use part of the HSL-Zuid the High Speed Line and be able to go at up to 200 km/h. After that, the VIRM would be a great choice due to their abundance on InterCity services that use the Oude Lijn. At last the FLIRT would be a great option for the Spinter services from Dordrecht to Breda which continue to Arnhem in real life. On the freight side you can have the Vectron drive freight trains from Kijfhoek to Lage Zwaluwe which lies between Dordrecht and Breda or even continue to Breda. I chose the Vectron due to the locomotive already being updated to have the ATB signalling system. I hope we will see this route come to fruition!
I think even better, older ICR train can be added to the route with ICNG, and it is easier to be created since it is literary carriage but both side have TRAXX locomotive (it even can add the Royal carriage!)
Well, the ICR itself has 3 different railcars and the BR186 also needs to be made. That is as much or even more work than making an ICNG, which is the new flagship train for NS. This whilst the TRAXX + ICR combination going out of service in a few months. This is the reason for me choosing the ICNG over that combination.
