This Danish route goes from the second biggest city of Denmark Århus to Silkeborg and Herning. The length from Århus Hovedbanegård is 52,8 km (32,8 miles) to Silkeborg and 93,9 km (58,3 miles) in total. Stations with a ** are stopping on request and skipped by the express trains. The total time for the journey is 87 minutes for the slow trains and 82 for the express trains. The service is operated by GoCollective, formerly Arriva Danmark, with Lint 41 trains and Desiro DMU trains. The line allows 160 km/h (99mph) between Århus Hovedbanegård and Skanderborg, 120 km/h (75 mph) between Skanderborg and Silkeborg and 100 km/h (62 mph) between Silkeborg and Herning. The line is equipped with ATO ZUB 123. East from Silkeborg you can see the Himmelbjerget. In mainland Denmark, it is the biggest height difference with a beautiful spot on the Julsø lake.
