Hello, I derailed here on the scenario "Abendliche Arbeiten", as seen in the video, so I don't have to contextualise it more. Played via Steam. First time i encountered this. Maybe it has something to do with the accidental use of the emergency break seconds before and applieing the dynamic break after this?
Without the HUD it was a bit hard to tell how much brake you applied. I avoid the brake handle at high speeds unless absolutely necessary, and no more than a 1 bar reduction in brake pipe pressure. I use the power handle to slow down at high speeds and introduce friction brakes with the brake handle below 160km/h (again, no more than 1 bar until below 60) if stopping at a station.
But this still doesn't justify that the train derails. I know, bad driving skills etc But if you derail in the case of an emergency if you use the emergency break, what's the point in even having the emergency break?
