Hi there, I'm joining the forum just to present an issue I'm having with the program since I first installed it; I may be a little neurotic about it, but I find it extremely disturbing how blurry and small the TSW2 desktop icon appears on my 4k display/desktop (via Steam). All my other icons appear in proper resolution, borderless and neat, only TSW is significantly smaller, therefore has a visible border and is extremely blurry (see Screenshot w/ other icons as reference). Some other shortcuts to programs also appear initially too small, but can be fixed by changing the icon to the image directly inherent to the .exe-file (e.g. the Psychonauts icon next to TSW2 in the screenshot). This doesn't work with TSW2, for the icon-file in the exe is as small in resolution. Does anyone else bother? Is there a way to please my eyes I'm not aware of? Any possibilty I can alert DTG to my aesthetic distress? Cheers, Fabian
It might help to make the icons bigger. There is a Windows adjustment app in Settings. I believe it also changes text size and doesn't reduce screen real estate.
It's the same with TSW2020. I have a couple other icons are blurry - House Flipper and Sonic Mania (OK, it's pixel art but still doesn't seem very sharp to me). TS1 and Ravenfield for context. Not sure why it is that way tbh.
This is something I can no longer unsee, and you've equally just made me aware of my other game icons which are blurry. I will certainly pass this along to the team, but I wouldn't anticipate this will be a high priority to update.
#SorryNotSorry I'm in the same boat - I didn't really realise the House Flipper icon is blurry. I wouldn't expect it to be the top of many lists, though (and I say this with next to no knowledge on this stuff) it shouldn't be an extremely complex fix, should it?
That's more than I was hoping for - thx a lot. Concerning other blurry icons, try right click on shortcut -> properties -> change icon (or the like, my Windows is in German) and then browse to the related .exe and choose it. This might change the blurry shortcut icon into sharp bliss for your eyes. Cheers!
