    Dear Dovetail Games Team,

I would like to propose the addition of the Coastal Line (Nahariya to Herzliya) as the first-ever full Israeli route in Train Sim World. This route is an iconic part of Israel Railways’ history and would bring a fresh, international flavor to the game, attracting both local and international railfans.

    Route Overview:

The Coastal Line runs from Nahariya in the north to Herzliya in the south, passing through key stations like Binyamina, Haifa Hof HaCarmel and Akko. This route has been historically important for both commuters and tourists, with stunning coastal views and a rich cultural landscape.

    Featured Rolling Stock:

One of the most iconic trains to have operated on this line was the Alstom Mo-Do single-decker carriages, which were in service for many years before being replaced by newer models. The Mo-Do trains were a symbol of Israel Railways during their era, offering a nostalgic experience for local railfans. The route would feature these Mo-Do trains hauled by JT42BW diesel-electric locomotives, which were commonly seen operating on this line during the 2000s.

    Key Features:

    • Authentic Rolling Stock: The Mo-Do carriages with their unique design and the JT42BW locomotives.
    • Scenic Coastal Route: Experience the beautiful Mediterranean coastline, with stations in major cities and towns.
    • Realistic Timetables: Scenarios that mirror actual service patterns from the early 2000s.
    • Stations: Major stops include Herzliya, Tel Aviv Savidor, Binyamina, Haifa Hof HaCarmel, and Nahariya, each featuring accurate station architecture and surrounding environments.
    • Language Support: The inclusion of Hebrew station announcements, with a detailed, bilingual timetable.

    Why This Route:

    • Cultural Appeal: Introducing the first Israeli route to Train Sim World would bring new cultural diversity to the game, appealing to both local fans and international players looking for something unique.
    • Preservation of History: The Mo-Do trains are no longer in service, but they remain beloved by many in Israel. Including them in the game would help preserve their legacy.
    • New Gameplay Experience: The Coastal Line offers a mix of urban and scenic operations, providing a balanced driving experience.

I believe this route would be an exciting addition to Train Sim World and would offer players the opportunity to experience a piece of Israel’s rail history. I hope you consider this proposal and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

    Best regards,

    Itay Levy
