So I was just chilling on foot in timetable mode on Mannheim-Kaiserslautern, and an AI BR 612 rolled into the station. It was apparently not affected by the current huge PIS bug and had working displays with “Mainz Hbf” on it. The BR 612 has been in TSW for quite some time and never used to be able to dynamically display destinations outside of its home route Tharandter Rampe. There are many YouTube videos of it layering in with blank PIS on routes such as Bremen-Oldenburg and Maintalbahn. This means a change must have been made at some point within the last year or so I guess? Pretty cool, makes it fit in so much better with the newer rolling stock.

Now DTG has done the same for Harlem Line, and my Hope is growing that DTG will do the same for Rapid Transits BR 1224 and BR 182; I especially like using the latter on the Dresden - Leipzig Route.
Ahhh thank you! I remember reading these patch notes back then, but I just assumed they adjusted the brightness level of the PIS to make it visible on modern routes. Had no idea they had actually fully reprogrammed the PIS to make it work with the intelligent system until I saw the AI train on Mannheim-Kaiserslautern. The color of the font seems to have changed as well… it used to be light green, now it’s white!
They just changed the brightness of the PIS. The PIS is now way too bright during night on TOD4 routes. Not sure about TOD3 routes, but Im afraid that they are the new sun…
