Diesel Hydraulic Units For German Routes

I have been watching a set of cab ride videos from Germany and this poster/driver either uses the BR 261 road switcher or BR 264 road diesel. These units are operating on fully electrified lines so would fit into the routes we have. This would give us another option on motive power that could be used for just about any freight on the route.

 

The V200 and 218 Diesel Hydraulics would be cool, too.
