Dear DTG knowing that the upcoming DLC Chemitz - Dresden is coming, i would still suggest this route. it would be cool to have a good diesel side line from Freiburg to Holzhau what brings the line a nice 30 km extra this is a fully Diesel route and gives a good Perspective of how it a diesel line drives. and how it merg with the electric route. Rollingstock The rolling stock that can drive are a LINT (BR 648) or a BR 650 but the BR 612 that is coming with the DLC could be driven there too and those are then just a train DLC.
This route is operated by BR650 only, and I doubt another new train would be added to the route. The Lint or 612 wouldn't go there. Some more information but only in German: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freiberger_Eisenbahn
Read the German Wikipedia article and it's linked to the Main line Prag Brüx there can be an international route Freiberg Brüx Prag Freiberg Most Prague. German and Austrian trains when running inside Czech Republic German name goes first Czech name in parentheses or the other way around Czech name German name Parentheses. If you stand at Dresden Neustadt ÖBB Railjet Berlin Elsterwerda-Dresden Schöna Bodenbach Prag Brünn Lundenburg Wien Graz. Czech name is in Parenthesis Decin Praha Brno Breclav
Great idea, it is always good to have more extra routes next to the main line, same for HRR and RRO, the S Bahn there has it's own sections
