Requests for something different from Germany are not rare, so here I am to suggest a mostly single-track, diesel route from Bielefeld to Osnabrück and Lemgo.

    General description
The concept of this route is a little different to most other routes and maybe somewhat controversial. The services on this routes are two RB (Regionalbahn = regional train) services, one from Osnabrück to Bielefeld and the other one from Bielefeld to Lemgo. Both services only share a couple hundreds of meters of track and then split up. Since neither of them would be long enough to make a separate route out of it, I suggest making one DLC out of both of them. In total, the route is around 90km long.

    Stops
    Osnabrück Hbf
    RB 75
    Osnabrück-Sutthausen
    Oesede
    Kloster Oesede
    Wellendorf
    Hilter
    Dissen-Bad Rothenfelde
    Westbarthausen
    Borgholzhausen
    Hesseln
    Halle (Westf.) OWL-Arena
    Halle (Westf.)
    Künsebeck
    Steinhagen (Westf.)
    Steinhagen (Westf.) Bielefelder Straße
    Quelle
    Quelle-Kupferheide
    Bielefeld-Brackwede
Bielefeld Hbf. RB 75, RB 73
    Bielefeld Ost
    Oldentrup
    Ubbedissen
    Oerlinghausen
    Helpup
    Ehlenbruch
    Lage (Lippe)
    Hörstmar (Lippe)
    Lemgo
    Lemgo-Lüttfeld
    RB 73

Most of the stations are single-track, apart from Osnabrück Hbf, Bielefeld Hbf and the stations where two trains meet. The two big stations are still quite interesting. Osnabrück is unique because it has two layers of tracks, one that is oriented east-west and one that is oriented north-south. This is pretty rare. The RB 75 also shares one platform with the RE 9 to Bremen which also departs from track 5. Bielefeld Hbf is even bigger and has a lot of Talents driving around so it can get quite busy in TSW too.

    Services
RB 75 "Haller Willem" Osnabrück - Bielefeld
    Trip duration: 1h15m
Rolling stock: NordWestBahn BR 643 (Talent 1, 3-car), single and double units
    Top speed: mostly 80kph
Operates every: hour from Osnabrück to Bielefeld, every half hour from Halle (Westf.) to Bielefeld
This is a rather slowly paced, unelectrified line with loads of stops on the way. One specialty are the train crossings at multiple stations during the trip due to the line being single track. At some stations, you're going to have to wait for the train going in the opposite direction to pass by to continue the journey, sometimes you will see the other train waiting in the station for you to arrive. The route is quite scenic and rural. In "rush hour", trains will need to be coupled together and later separated so the rising amount of passengers can be dealt with properly. The complete line would be featured in Train Sim World, so you can realistically drive up and down the line again and again.

    RB 73 "Der Lipperländer" Bielefeld - Lemgo-Lüttfeld
    Trip duration: 40m
Rolling stock: Eurobahn BR 643 (Talent 1, 3-car)
    Top speed: 60-80kph
Operates every: hour, with only one additional service from Bielefeld to Lage (Lippe) in the morning
Another very slow, single track diesel line that leaves Bielefeld Hbf in the opposite direction of the RB 75. As well as on the RB 75, the trains have to cross each other during the trip to make two-directional traffic possible on a single-track route. Since this represents the complete service too, you can do return services shortly after you arrive at one end of the line.

    Rolling stock

    NordWestBahn BR 643 3-car
The BR 643, also known as the Talent 1 manufactured by Bombardier is made up of 3 cars and reaches a top speed of 120kph using its diesel engines. It is used by the operator NordWestBahn on the RB 75 (Osnabrück <-> Bielefeld) and has 4 doors per side. It is used in formations of one up to three units per train. This unit can layer onto HRR and in DB livery it could also layer on numerous other German routes.

    Eurobahn BR 643 3-car
This unit is almost identical to the BR 643 used by NordWestBahn with the difference of one less doors in the center carriage. Eurobahn operates these on the RB 73 (Bielefeld <-> Lemgo-Lüttfeld).

    Summary
Why we need this route/why it fits TSW:
+ no possibility for dostos which we have more than enough of
    + only one train needed
+ first single-track route in Germany
+ first non-electrified route in Germany
+ unique gameplay: coupling, separating, preparing trains for service
    + train crossings
+ full timetable recreatable by creating one train
People have been asking for pure diesel routes, something other than a mainline, something different in general so this is a route that is entirely different to currently existing routes.

Great idea but DTG is going to need a Veolia Transdev license for this route & RB30 on DCZ with Silver and Green DB BR1440. To make it even busier why not merge this with Bahnstrecke Oldenburg Delmenhorst Bremen by building the missing section 122 km 76 mi Rollbahn Bremen Osnabrück and set to the era as Bremen Delmenhorst Oldenburg
