Hi everyone. my suggestion would be the dieselroute Lindau HBF to Kempten Allgäu. with the branch to oberstdorf. this route would give DTG the opportunity to bring the 612 again in the game and bring the DB Br 633 Pesa link to the game.

The route is about 109km long and has frequent regional services. The Br 612 and 633 are the most used trains on this route and with the branch to oberstdorf you could drive IC trains when they are implemented.

That would be a superb route but I would only get it if it came with 218s

Since I'm living roughly in this area, I'd be thrilled to get this route in TSW! It's a very impressive showcase of early railroad engineering, having been completed in the early 1850s. <S

Personally I don't care much about the unreliable PESA buckets, would prefer something else:
If set in the 2000's instead, it could indeed serve as a wonderful showcase for TSG's upcoming 218. Kempten and the 218 belong together like bread and butter :D
At this time, the 218 was the workhorse of this area, taking care of most of the passenger traffic on this route. The rest of the passenger services can be covered by 612, 628 and 642, very convenient for any developers ;)

Another possibility would be to set it in the mid-90's like Niddertalbahn or Linke Rheinstrecke. The 218 and 628 basically reigned supreme here at that time. Only the BDnrzf Steuerwagen would have to get a version for Diesel traction.

For cargo services, it would be a great opportunity to throw a newcomer in the ring: The BR 294/295 which is still hauling cargo trains through this region to this day. Plus, because of its widespread use, it could layer into many other routes easily as well!

how lukas said DTG is to lazy to ask for a soundrecord appointment of the 294 so i dont think its coming. and the 218 probably comes in 3 years lol. and why just routes from the 90s like we have nothing modern that drives with diesel

If you want it to be set in present time, almost all services would use either the 612 or the 633. Only a small couple of services use 642, mostly the commuter traffic between Kempten and Immenstadt. And two pairs of IC per day with 218 / 2x218. So basically, the only "modern" vehicle we'll get is the 633 and in all honesty I doubt that many fans of the game would prefer a 633 over a 218.

Cargo traffic on this route is pretty much nonexistent these days, only some occasional regional services and rarely a long-running container service between Kempten and Lindau, pulled by an Euro 9000... one pair per week :o

It's just my humble opinion, that setting the route in the 90's or 2000's would offer much more variety in rolling stock and services. More cargo traffic, InterRegio with 218 or later ALEX trains with 223, EC's with 218 and Swiss cars and so forth. And, depending on the precise era, n-Wagen, Dosto's, 628, 642 plus lots of 612 :)

I guess in the end it depends on how much effort a potential developer is willing to put into new rolling stock.

Interesting, this I'd give a go honestly. Wish there were more diesel locomotives though. Maybe a Dual-Mode one.
    Nonetheless, great suggestion :)

Wow! The 633! That would be an interesting route for me. It would produce the layers in Lindau, for the S-Bahn:Vorarlberg. For me that's a yes! We need more German diesel routes!

I’d be very interested if it came with 218s.

Let me guess you really want to bring this train simulator Classic route into the game it's being made there the ideal solution would be bringing in it's creator RSSLO in TSW4. As a DLC loco the Stadler Eurodual which it's also made by the same company
