Upto now I have only played uk routes, I think I have all the uk routes apart from west Somerset, island line and SOS, unless one of said routes is on sale at any point probably the next route I will buy will be Midland mainline, what's the best country to go to for diesel locos, Germany or the USA?
USA, Germany has 1 diesel (another on the way), and the US has around 13 (though someone of them are quite similer).
Currently in game, there are 3 diesel shunters and 1 dmu. Tsg is releasing the 628 dmu with his route and has plans for the 232 and 218. For the US, there's peninsula corridor with its dlc for passenger. The rest are slow and long freight, except Oakville which is fast. But for the other routes, average speed is around 20-25mph. Hsc, Sherman and cajon have longer freight consists for next gen consoles and ps5 which makes operations challenging.
