If its its needed for consoles disable the option to turn addons mgr off. Make it unclickable. Leave the option available for PC. Making this happen is probably not as simple as the suggestion would imply. However its having a detrimental enough impact on the ability to use and create mods. Something the PC community have been accustomed to. As it stands TSW 4 is offering great new features but has this addons mgr cloud hanging over it.
When it was first announced, dtg said it's required to enable tsw to continue to be supported. Also to allow there to be a standard between all platforms so the code isn't different for each platform and creates an even more jumbled mess. There's no opt out of it.
