So here we are at 4 months since the THIRD game in the Train Sim World series launched and I'm wondering when DTG are going to fix the imperial distance measurement? As it counts down to either a Go Via or a stop marker it will count down 1m, 0.9m, 0.8m etc until it gets to 0.5m where it starts counting down in yards. The issue is that the countdown for half a mile starts at a thousand yards which means that each in game mile travelled is actually at least 120 yards longer than it should be (240 yards if you count that the other half mile is the same count!) If we're working on 240 extra yards per mile then for every 10 miles travelled that the game counts we're actually travelling just over 11 miles!

They likely won't as it's not a priority. There are other more pressing issues to be dealt with.

You are mistaken. The countdown in miles does not go down to 0.5 before it changes to yards, it changes well before 0.5 miles is reached. There is no error here, the distance counts down correctly and does not need to be fixed.

The countdown changes to yards shortly after it reaches 0.6 miles, which equals about 1000 yards. This is accurate. No need to be pedantic. Everybody is used to this and there's no need to change it.

1000 yards equals about 0,568 miles. The counter switches from miles to yards while 0,6 miles is shown, before it shows 0.5 miles, which it would do when reaching 0,549 miles. No issue here at all.
