Well I had a recommended video that grabbed my attention instantly, an old D78 Sock LUL train being tested in the US, it’s a 2 coaches version like the Class 484 but this time battery powered, the video speaks by itself:
It's probably not going anywhere as the company converting them no longer exists. GWR have purchased own the battery/charge tech for the new regional units they are developing and everything else is being scrapped
