So before the roadmap was a thing, DTG used to post teasers on Instagram/ Twitter before announcing a route officially. For example here, where you could see the DB BR 422 hidden on the far left for the first time. Or here, where you could see the BR 146 on Dostos with PIS for the first time, teasing Main-Spessart Bahn: Now that new routes will be announced on the roadmap much later in the development process, I would find it really cool if we would get small teasers again. It was always fun to search for details in those posts and getting a hint towards what the next DLC might be.
I totally agree because speculating about routes is always fun that’s why there is so much speculation on this forum… I’d love for teasers to be a thing so that you can see the route announcement coming in the near future and get hyped more about the route. I don’t see a reason not to do this other than maybe creating false hopes about routes but this can certainly be avoided by choosing the teasers carefully
Very true! Even when DTG just puts the words "New German route" on the roadmap, there instantly are speculation threads everywhere!
Heck yeah, these seemed like a lot of fun. Just adds more excitement and speculation for upcoming routes and stuff. What’s more fun than gathering hints and trying to figure out what it all means? And none of these hints ever showed the full route, too, so the full reveal was never spoiled. The eagle-eyed smart ones would know about a future route set in Hagen with the BR 422, but the hints didn’t show Wuppertal or the BR 185.5. It’s great, it’s fun, and I love hints.
look at Isle of Wight & Luzern-Sursee, people started speculating alot and getting more and more exciting
If the New German route turns out to be an international German route you would have probably seen the existing German locomotive, then hide the new international train. DB BR146.2 DB BR143 remains but DB BR1429 Flirt 3 NL NS Dutch Railways BR 193 Vectron or DB BR189 are Hidden behind the 146.2 422 425 143 406 at Duisburg Hbf If Germany to Austria Spoiler: Hauptstrecke Innsbruck Rosenheim German Locomotive and Taurus 1016 1116 are Revealed but not the Coaches behind the Taurus locomotive. ÖBB 1216 is hidden since it has DB BR189 electrical systems using the body shell of a DB BR182 MRCE BR182 ÖBB1116 1016. If new route is Bochum-Hagen/Dortmund via Witten Wetter Viaduct Spoiler: Hauptstrecke Bochum-Dortmund/Hagen 422 146.2 143 363 are Revealed but 152 DB BR462 1440 280.5 Trimode are Hidden at Hagen Vorhalle. Basically, hinting at the possibility of a mega merger HRR RRO RSN with this route.
