Here's a new DM&IR/CN route yet to be created for TSW 5. It would go from Two Harbors to Iron Junction. The route is over 75 miles. It would be set in the 1940's-1950's-1960's-1970's-1980's-1990's-2000's-2010's-present day. The Duluth, Missabe, & Iron Range rolling stock would include M-3-Class 2-8-8-4 "Yellowstone"s, S-7 Class 0-10-2's, 500 Class 2-10-2's, M-2s Class 2-8-8-2's, N-4 Class 2-8-2's, 700 Class 2-10-4's, Class, S-6 Class 0-10-0's, G Class 0-6-0's, F Class 2-8-0's, SD38-2's, SD18's, SD38AC's, SD9's, SW9's, Alco RSD-15's, SD45T-2's, Budd RDC-3's, Alco C-630's, VO-1000's, SD38's, and SD40-3's with freight and passenger equipment. The Canadian National rolling stock would include SD40U's, SD40-2's, SD40T-2's, SD45T-2's, SD40-2W's, GP9RM's, SD40-3's, SD40T-3's, and C40-8's with the same freight equipment like TSC has. It would be a fantastic route to for TSW 5. It would be an awesome steam route for TSW 5.
I'd be great to have the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range to be one of the fallen flag railroads for TSW 5.
This route would be awesome with the massive DM&IR 2-8-8-4 Yellowstones and their big 0-10-0 and 0-10-2 switchers.
Excellent idea but the problem is this I wonder if Canadian national license deal with the developers allows predecessor railroads DM&IR
What if we bring it into the modern day? Then we would get the one and the only CN SD45T-2! (all of them are former DMIR)
DM&IR's No. 227 Yellowstone is my #1 favorite steam locomotive ( along with N&W Y6B ). Personally, I'd love to see it in TSW...
IT would be excellent to see That Route but with The Canadian National RAILWAY since IT is The Train That moves The most in That place Limestone to the Range by Kevin Madsen, en Flickr The ones that are seen the most are the EMD SD40U, the EMD SD40-2, the EMD SD40-2T, the EMD SD40-2W which are CN 5244 CN 5317 CN 5318 CN 5337 CN 5338 CN 5349 without leaving behind The GE CN C40-8 And Freights Cars DMIR CN Ore Cars
