The DM30AC power cars are used on the Long Island Railroad of NYC for all unnelectrified lines and make quite a melodious sound, as well as a nice bell tune. They are always coupled to C3 bilevel coaches and are sometimes referred to as DE30AC. This suggestion is linked to another suggestion of mine in Route Suggestions & Proposals.

The Budd M3 and Bombardier M7 electric multiple units (EMUs) are used for electrified lines on the whole of the Long Island Railroad network of NYC. This suggestion is also linked to another suggestion of mine in Route Suggestions & Proposals.

We definitely need the LIRR that’s for sure! For reference, DM stands for Dual-mode so those diesels are use to go into mostly into Penn, but the DE30AC is not Dual-mode so it is used mostly during off peak hours and on the Oyster Bay Branch.
