I've been playing TSW for a while, and always just heard of Dovetail being a large part of its making. But I go looking and apparently they're involved with TS as well? I thought these two games were rivals?? jiofi.local.html 192.168.8.1 router network
no they are both owned by Dovetail games. Train Simulator was the first sim DTG has made. I think TS was made in 2009 or 08
They are rivals...and they're not! TSW is the new version of TS...and it's not! It's all a bit confusing as Dovetail have changed their minds a few times on what the future status and relationship of each game is. I BELIVE, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that for a time being TS and TSW will co-exist as two different options for train sim fans. The original plan that was presented was that TSW their first attempt at it, not TSW2 was that TSW would replace TS as the game being developed for by DTG, but that changes when TSW didn't light the world on fire as much as they had hoped and priorities changed.
