Train Sim World® 3: DB BR 403 ICE 3 Railbow Add-On on Steam (steampowered.com) I decided to treat myself. I go to the Microsoft store and buy the ICE 3 Railbow add-on which also includes ICE 1 with the green band. Two beautiful liveries, really well made, and happy with my purchase I immediately run to admire them in motion. I go on the original route, the Kessel-Wurzburg and I take a nice run from north to south. Soon, however, I realize that these two liveries can only be used on the Kessel-Wurzburg section. I can't even select them on the Scenario Planner and manually add them to the other routes in which the ICE 1 and ICE 3 are present. Please, tell me that I'm the one who did something wrong because it seems really incredible to me that you don't have the possibility to switch liveries on the other ICEs present in the game. How is something like this possible? I wonder what the logic behind all this is. I'm shocked. * In the meantime, I really hope someone tells me that I'm the one who made the mistake. Update: I found the ICE 1 in Scenario Planner. It has the DBE extension (DB ICE1 DBE). While for the ICE3 (403) Railbow there is still nothing. The search continues. I'll update if necessary. Update 2: Logically, if there is ICE 1 there must be ICE 3. And indeed there is! It has the prefix DBR where I deduce the R stands for Railbow.
the Railbow ICE 3 in said DLC is actually quite unrealistic in some design aspects, eg. the full redesign look isnt really there (such as the orange PIS screens or the wider door borders) though there are 2 mods that does a better job at that as they have their own variants of the RBW ICE 3 and DSK ICE 1, though as of right now the ICE 1 EP is still in development for TSW4 and the ICE 3 EP is still at an older version (not updated yet). not even sure if those'd work on the MS version, but whatever have fun
The Paks should go here: C:\XboxGames\Train Sim World- 4\Content\TS2Prototype\Content\Paks Then you have to see if they are compatible in structure. You could ask those who create mods for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. * I tried to load a Pak but it doesn't read it. Surely the structure and the various addresses are different so I deduce that there is a lot of effort to adapt it to the Microsoft version of TSW.
I personally gave it a miss, if I was to pay for liveries I would like to see realism, I get why they chose to have it spawn in anywhere, that being it would be hard to use otherwise (the game is kinda crying for a unit select feature) but it was a drawback I wasn’t particularly up for.
First of all, if you both emphasized it, it means that what you declare cannot be false, otherwise I would be a victim of the Truman Show. Also, first of all, I have never seen the real ICE 3 Railbow in person. However, it must be said that I was intrigued by it and so I searched the web for several videos to find the differences, which, I repeat, will undoubtedly be there. However, I didn't notice them. Or at least I'm led to think that they are not that obvious. The various information icons on the carriages (near the doors) seem to be all there to me. The PIS is orange. The handles/buttons to open/close the carriage are orange. In short, externally, in my eyes, everything is there. Perhaps the order of the carriages is wrong, or the information icons on the carriages, or the train number. But apart from probable tiny oversights (which I don't notice and which we probably find a bit on almost all trains) to me, (I repeat externally) everything seems ok or at least I find it acceptable. :/ What is unacceptable for me is that it can only be selected in the Timetable between Kessel and Wurzburg.
