this is my medal totals for TSW3. this is what a have in TSW4 after loading my profile. it seems everything else transferred over just fine, but the medals did not.
I believe the first eight for platinum are just because you reached a very high score on some services and the scoring 2.0 seems to work okay with that, but what happened to the other 682 medals that seem to be lost now, idk, a few other people also reported issues but honestly, I have no idea what went wrong.
Did you install all of the routes you had in TSW3? Medals from uninstalled routes not showing up seems like a possible explanation.
Medal counts have been inconsistent for me ever since the Add-Ons manager was introduced. I noticed this back in TSW3 already.
The whole Medal, Score, Achievements and Trophy system is bugged (and irrelevant to me.) Probably some wizard will code a savegame editor
Did you import the correct profile? I had the choice between my TSW2 and TSW3 profiles (and they looked almost identical).
Have this same issue on XSX, lost about 400 gold medals at the moment. Same profile imported across and all my dlc installed.
I have the same issue, although I "only" lost about 150 out of 600 medals. Interestingly, I lost all my Bronze medals. I know I only had those on the GWB's "Diesel Legends of the Great Western" Journey (you know, those Class 52 services with 1500-2000 point deficits each), so I can speculate that the medals from some of the DLCs (including GWB) got lost somewhere during the messy launch. See, this addon was one of those that were initially unavailable in TSW4 for players who have purchased it earlier. If I go into the Journey, I can see all the missing medals, so the medal count in the profile is no longer consistent with the game itself. How did they port the medals over in such a way that some of them no longer count? No idea, but I would really like this fixed.
Upcoming patch announced here https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/game-update-coming-next-week.75150/ has a fix for this.
