Dosto Coupling Spacing Hitbox.

I don't understand why the hitbox for the coupling between the Dosto has to be so unbelievably small it took me 40 minutes of just trying to jam the camera beneath the map to uncouple the bloody thing.

It shouldn't be THAT hard to do a pretty basic thing in a Train Simulator, obviously this'll probably never be fixed but it's just infuriating.

Had trouble uncoupling a BR182 from an ECS with dostos yesterday, and just gave-up doing it manually in the end.

External camera is the way to save your sanity.

 

They rectified that mistake on the last DLC, it can be coupled/uncoupled normally.

 

So, I've tried that. The problem is, it works for some trains but for others, for some reason the prompt just never shows up.

I just wish, somehow, they could just make a better way of uncoupling... though I guess I'll have to wait till formation designer.

 

After much cajoling, DTG finally gave us keyboard commands to open and close passenger doors. Perhaps they could do the same with coupling/uncoupling

Or just make a coupling hud where you can click the couplers like in MSTS and Train Simulator.

 

Do the ic coaches even have a possibility to uncouple? Between the loco its possible, but never was able to split the ic consist ingame for the coaches itself.

 

Let me check - on the n-Wagen you can lift the gangway plate and uncouple.

The IC wagons from HRR's BR 101 can't be split as it seems.
