So, after the launch of TSW3, I have been watching these forums closely. I am somewhat astounded at the number of patch notes released immediately after the 'Big New Thing" was launched and then, the amazing number of patch notes that have been announced since then. Both for the original new game and for every single new DLC released. This beggars the question in my tiny mind that perhaps there is very little thought given to ensuring the DLC is up to a reasonable standard prior to release.
This suggests to me that the emphasis for this company has degenerated to a situation where getting new product on to the market takes preference over ensuring what they do release is up to scratch. This then seems to put staff under pressure to push out more content, whilst at the same time fixing the shambles that has been released. I opted not to buy the new thing while I waited to see the response on the forums and I am now glad I stuck with TSW2, which although has routes so bugged that I leave them alone, has many other bugs fixed in the past to an acceptable level. DTG have promised many times to rectify bugs in TSW2 that were created as a direct result of a patch to the SOS route, but as yet nothing is forthcoming. I am resigned to putting up with what I have for longer now, as the frustration I see in these pages does not warrant the spending of my money on it. Congratulations DTG! You lose a customer.

Automobile manufacturers have to have QA to make sure the customer is not risking is health or life using their products.

An entertainment software company does not necessarily need QA - unfortunately. It's up to them. The community does the job - always been like that with DTG - their stuff sells and that's all that matters.
