I discovered through trial and error if I skipped the login screen (B button on XBox) that appeared after the creators club update and selected “do not ask for login next time” that I was actually still signed in to dovetail live. I’ve not had any issue since doing this. I’m always signed in now. I suspect the error is from server confusion because users are still signed in but we don’t realize that because of the new sign in prompt.
This game was playable about 3 hours ago. Now it's unplayable. EDIT: Nevermind. It decided to work suddenly.
OK, it's possible to at least get to the point in which you can "play Train Sim World 2". What I want to know, why do we have to "Create an Identity" every single time you launch the game?
I completely agree BCMTUK, its getting tiresome very quickly that the game forces you to either create an identity every time or on the PS5 you can spam the circle or triangle button until it lets you in. What also annoys me it takes you straight to the creators club which is then slow to get out of. Ill probably never use the creators club either, it should be an option on the menu. All i want to do is load the game and go to the main menu screen, that surely shouldn't be difficult in this day and age of consoles/PCs. Dovetail - can you look into this.
What's weird, is that it tells you to press "B" (on Xbox controller) to cancel, yet nothing happens. You can't just "not create" an identity, because it then says it's invalid. It should either be a "let me play the game normally", or if they insist on you "creating an identity", it should be a one time thing, which is then linked to your DTL account.
The dovetaillive id error has existed since the very first game if I recall, I had it all through playing TSW3 and now again on 4, can't even set a ID name on the site it just tells me "internal server error".
