My suggestion is to go into something new, something that hasn't been done before, and you would definitely like it. Dovrebanen railway line in Norway connecting Trondheim with Oslo on the section Trondheim Central station (Trondheim Sentralstasjon) to Dombås. It is a line with quite interesting terrain, single-track, electrified. On the line there are straight sections with flat terrain as well as large uphill and downhill descents, in addition, the very beautiful Dovrefjell plateau is overcome, where the views are impressive in winter. There is quite good passenger traffic on the line and not even a small freight traffic. Passenger trains are operated by SJ Nord, they use El18 series locomotives (the same type as Re 460 SBB) serve long-distance traffic from Trondheim to Oslo, EMU Stadler Flirt type 76 trains in service agglomeration traffic. Freight trains are mainly container transports by CargoNet between Bodø (Nordlandsbanen) and Oslo Alnabru, for which they mainly use Traxx F140 AC2 BR 185 locomotives, but also transport timber between Koppang (Rørosbanen) and Skogn with Vossloh Euro 4000 CD 312 or Stadler Eurodual locomotives Euro 9000. In addition, not long ago, the Swedish company Green Cargo also operated container trains between the Heimdal terminal (around 10 km from Trondheim) and Oslo Alnabru with Traxx F140 AC2 or Traxx F160 AC3 locomotives. The section from Trondheim S to Dombås is approx. 210 km long, the journey by passenger train takes approx. 3 hours and by freight train approx. 3 hours 20 minutes.
