Just downloading the goblin line now to my PS5 first of it has downloaded a ps4 version which showed 2.4gb now it’s downloading a ps5 version which is 4.870gb is this normal to download ps4 versions as well.?? Sorry if a dumb question.
Not a dumb question at all, I actually wondered a similar thing when downloading GWE. It downloaded (as far as I can tell) a TSW, TSW2, TSW3 and TSW4 version! Wondered if that was normal or odd. I don't know the answer, but would be interested to see what people say too.
This happens to me too, only when I first download and buy the route from the store. You have to quickly go to your download list and cancel the PS4 version downloading. If you go to your dlc content on the manage game section and download your content, it will download PS5 versions of dlc only. Hope this helps.
Thank you both. Managed to remove the ps4 version. I went into the settings and storage section and found the ps4 version installed outside the sim just deleted it. Thought I done something wrong. Many thanks for the quick responses.
You own automatically both PS versions and - technically - you *COULD* play the PS4 version on PS5. Some people value route performance over quality. But in order to have the PS5 version working, you don't need the PS4 version cluttering your storage. Just delete it.
