Hello again everyone, I have another route suggestion and it would be a followup to my previously proposed Los Angeles to Long Beach Light Rail Line (Metro Blue Line).

I propose Dovetail games develop Los Angeles' Modern Day Subway Route operated by LA Metro between Los Angeles' Union Station, to North Hollywood. The line would officially start at the Metro Red/Purple Line Maintenance Facility Southeast of Union Station, just west of the Los Angeles River.

Here, trains will run north until they reach their underground portal that will lead them to their first stop at Union Station. After this the line will make a gradual left turn until it is directly under Hill Street, making 2 stops at Civic Center/Grant Park (Los Angeles' City Center and Offices of Administration are located here), and Pershing Square (Grand Central Market, Jewelry District, and Pershing Square). The line makes s right turn to run directly under 7th Street, stopping at the 7th Street Metro Center Station, this is the transfer point to Metro Blue Line which runs to Long Beach in the southern end of Los Angeles County, the Metro Expo Line which runs to Santa Monica in the west, and many other transit services that operate throughout the county. The line will continue to run westward, crossing underneath the Interstate 110 and directly under 7th Street until it make's it stop at Westlake/MacArthur Park. After this stop, the line will run directly under Westlake until it's under the historic Wilshire Blvd. The next station, Wilshire Blvd/Vermont Ave. a Bi-Level Platform Station that will split the lines into two. The left track will the Purple Line that will continue under Wilshire Blvd, until it reaches it's current terminus at Wilshire Blvd/Western Ave in the Los Angeles' Koreatown Neighborhood, and later, the Veterans Administration and Hospital located in West Los Angeles.

The right track, will start the Metro Red Line branch, making a right turn onto Vermont Ave. Here, the line travels north, making stops at Vermont Ave/Beverly Blvd, Vermont Ave/Santa Monica Blvd (Los Angeles Community College is located here), and Vermont Ave/Sunset Blvd (Kaiser Permanente, Childrens Hospital, Presbyterian Hospital and the Socientology Center are here). After this stop, the line begins it's left turn onto the Historic Hollywood Blvd corridor. There are three stops that include, Hollywood Blvd/Western Avenue, Hollywood Blvd/Vine St (this is the eastern starting point of the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, as well as the location of famous landmarks such as the Pantages Theater.), and Hollywood Blvd/Highland Ave (the end of the walk of fame, as well as the location for the Kodak Theater Shopping Center, the El Capitan, Wax Museum, and the closest stop to the Hollywood Bowl that is less than a mile away). After this, the Red Line begins it's journey northwest from the heart of Hollywood, and into the San Fernando Valley, running under the Hollywood Hills, at this point, trains will be able to reach their maximum permitted speed of 70 mph. After traversing underneath the Hollywood Hills, the Red Line will reach it's Universal/Studio City Station (Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal City walk are located here). After this station, the Red Line will make it's left turn to align itself underneath Lankershim Blvd to reach it's last stop, North Hollywood.

The trains that operate this route are manufactured by Ansaldobreda (now known as Hitachi Ltd.) with the Procurement number A650. Cars 501-530 are Direct Current (DC) Traction Powered, while cars 531-604 are Alternating Current (AC) Traction powered. Aside from both traction power and production years, both of these cars share the same physical appearance, and can operate up to 70 mph.

In the future, the line will have new subway cars manufactured by CRRC.

This route would be a great candidate for Train Sim World's first ever underground subway route.
