Hi Im on tsw3 now, but seeing DTG negligence on freight staff, Im wondering if TSC is more realistic, like proper DPU and damagable knuckles (to really feel responsibility for amount klbs), realistic mechanic (start ups) and brakes etc. or are these features available on RUN8 only? thnx for answers
TSC doesn't have features like damagable knuckles from what I am aware but if you find the right DLC you will get features such as proper start up procedures and realistic operation. TSC has lots of developers so it can be difficult to find the right quality you want as quality is inconsistent across DLC. I recommend Searchlight Simulations DLC for TSC, I assume you are North American and I've heard their North American rolling stock is some of the best and most realistic stuff you can get. They have their Canadian Pacific AC4400CW Loco Add-On for purchase on Steam for the Canadian Mountain Passes: Revelstoke-Lake Louise route. They have a few loco DLC and rolling stock available on Searchlight Simulations' store page featuring the EMD SD70ACU and EMD SD40-2 for example as well as multiple rolling stock packs. That might suit your needs for what you want. (At the time of writing this though it says their store is undergoing maintenance).
