Country/Region: Germany, Scandinavia, Austria, Czechoslovakia Operator(s): Deutsche Reichsbahn, DB Type: Diesel Multiple Unit Era/Years in Service: 1963 - 2003 Top Speed: 160 km/h (4 & 5-car units) Top Speed: 140 km/h (6-car units) Power Output: 2 × 745.7 kilowatts (2000 hp) Notable Features: High speed diesel-hydraulic multiple unit first used by Deutsche Reichsbahn The VT 18.16 (also known as BR 175) is a diesel-hydraulic high-speed diesel multiple unit first introduced in 1963 by Deutsche Reichsbahn, designed mainly for use on international routes such as to Scandinavia, Austria and Czechoslovakia. It has two end cars each with a 1000 hp engine. Currently there aren't any TSW routes where it could run. However one is currently being restored by SVT Görlitz gGmbH for use in special service soon. It would be nice to see it made with some proceeds going to SVT Görlitz, similar to how a portion of proceeds from the BR 194 & E94 Railtour Pack go to Elektrische Zugförderung Württemberg. Ideally it would either be included with an international route to Scandinavia, Austria or Czechoslovakia, or come as a standalone DLC (in both restored and original variants) that would layer onto the aforementioned routes.
hmm, good suggestion, I liked it I like diesel trains (more than electric ones) and this looks like the diesel version of the NS ICMm3
