This is a small expansion to DRA:

-Dresden Friedrichstadt Gbf and the line between Dresden Hbf and Coswig Bf:

This is part of the Dresden-Berlin Line.
RB31 goes from Dresden Hbf to Elsterwerda, it is already on the timetable game, but only between Großenhain Bf and Coswig Bf.
On TSW this service can be driven with the BR442, like in the reality.
Here is the list of every station that would be added in the expansion:
    Coswig (b Dresden) – Radebeul-Naundorf – Niederwartha – Cossebaude – Dresden-Stetzsch – Dresden-Kemnitz – Dresden-Cotta – Dresden-Friedrichstadt – Dresden Hauptbahnhof

This is a link for see the entire route:

Here are some stations on the route:
    -Dresden Friedrichstadt bf and gbf:
Is a little station, the first after Dresden Hbf, but has a very important freight yard, featuring many freight and shunting layers (Like the G6)
The Yard is used also for the change of the loco for the International freight travels.
Here there is a YouTube link for see the yard in 2009:

I'd love it, more features the better ofc. While it's unlikely to come, I'm still crossing my fingers :)

There's a problem with Dresden Friedrichstadt it's a Hump Yard like RRO RSN Hagen Vorhalle Hauptstrecke Augsburg München Rosenheim Salzburg München Nord and Salzburg Gnigl Rapid Transit Leipzig Engelsdorf and Cajon Pass Barstow. Meaning the game needs to support retarders for the hump inside Dresden Friedrichstadt

It is not. The hump hasn't been used since 2009.

When Dovetail previewed the TSW4 upgraded DRA, I was a bit of disappointed that the upgrade didn't had any map extensions. One of my complaints beside the completion of the airport branch, was why in both of the Dresden DLCs we have available (Dresden-Nahverkehr or Tharandter Rampe) we still don't have Dresden's biggest station included, the freightyard of Dresden-Friedrichstadt.

In reality, this yard mainly used for freight nowadays occupies a big chunck of the city and leaving it out of a train sim game is like a big missing organ. View from west: to the bottom you can see Dresden-Friedrichstadt, at the middle in the background the main station.

One interesting thing about this big trainyard is the Walther bridge which crosses over it completely:

Doing a bit more research on the matter, I discovered that there is still an active passenger service line over it as well (as it turned out, the missing RB31 which cuts off at Coswig in DRA) and Dovetail Games easily could bring in it because this branch would go off somewhere after Dresden Freiberger Straße and would connect back to the mainline of DRA short before Coswig. And we even would have a forth cross over the Elbe in the DLC (after Dresden Mid City, Meißen and Riesa) with the bridges of Niederwartha!

If doing such a map extension, we even could use the BR 442 services for the RB31 from Dresden to Großenhain, and not only just from Coswig (that would enhance these services and the overall timetable a lot IMHO).

I think this (filling the remaining route of the RB31 from D-Freiberger Staße to Coswig over Friedrichstadt) paired with a map upgrade from the S1 to the airport, would be easily worth 30€ list price for me.

BTW thank you Gasdesh for making the suggestion for me. Completely forgot about doing an official suggestion by myself once I signed up in the Forum!

You're not technically wrong, it is physically the largest, but it's not very important anymore (most shunting is done at Leipzig-Engelsdorf instead) and quite a few of the tracks seen in that aerial shot are disused.

That's not to say I wouldn't love to see the line via Friedrichstadt in the game. It would add variety in the RB31, and many freight trains do use that line, they just don't stop in Friedrichstadt. And there's a little spur to Dresden Harbor from Friedrichstadt which would be really neat!

It's also really pretty! The line skirts the Elbe at Dresden-Cotta, and just before the bridge at Niederwartha, it's right next to a gorgeous old hydro-electric power plant. The infrastructure is also quite old, with Hl signals and WSSB level crossings. However, all that does mean it would be quite a lot of work for a rather short line: a really large station, quite an urban environment, and lots of new and custom assets required...
