Why is the draw distance on tsw 3 so short, when you move past 40mph it looks like the game is struggling to load the track and catenary in front of you, this is an issue ive noticed on tsw3
Apparently this was not changed in tsw3 and me noticing it is a figment of my imagination! On the pc you can change the draw distance, unfortunately same can't be said for the console.
Dtg's argument is that it costs performance. That is also why shadows can't be seen further out, not talking about the baked shadows that were introduced with tsw2.
I wonder if the draw distance is shorter than we saw in TSW2. Maybe shadows only? If so, seeing that the game engine is the same, it would be nice to have options to turn off the stuff that is causing all this overhead and customize to one's liking. Could be a combination of the 3D clouds and special effects (both of which I would prefer to turn off if it meant a better experience).
