    So one thing i've found while playing TSW 4 is the rail sleepers seem to draw in pretty close to the engine, is there some way to extend the draw distance of the game?

    Only via INI tweaks.

    [SystemSettings]
    r.ViewDistanceScale=4.0

    Try adding that at the end of your Engine.ini file.

    Unfortunately, this cannot be changed because the rail sleepers are not inserted using LODs or drawdistance, but if you look closely, they move out of the ground from a certain distance. It is a clever solution because they never pop up but appear slowly, but unfortunately this means that you cannot change this using settings or any commands.
    Unfortunately, this really bothers me too.
    DTG would probably have to adjust the rail models for all routes to make this possible. As far as I know, they don't want to do that.

    the draw distance for certain assets does change from route to route.

    on PC you can modify your Engine.ini file but its not always possible to get the desired effect due to the way DTG have implemented global settings within UE.

    personally I use:

    [SystemSettings]
    r.ViewDistanceScale=4
    foliage.LODDistanceScale=4
