Good morning all, I tried looking through the search tool for any posts about performance on TSW6 with the new route. Using XBOX, I found nothing. Does this mean its worth spending on the new route? Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated.
Just another run of the mill German route. No new rolling stock is included and the original section from Dresden to Riesa is completely unchanged from the original version. Also there’s blurry textures on half the route. Wouldn’t recommend unless it’s on a big discount
I’ve played quite a bit on Xbox Series X and I think I had blurry textures once but only right at the end of a run as I got into Dresden. Performance was decent enough and I’ve enjoyed my time with it.
Ive learnt to live with the german rolling stock issue and the low textures since 2022. So aslong as the route doesnt just crash... *cough cough* Frankfurt Fulda, Every time then i think ill pick it up later on. Thank you
Also most of the Journey mode elements seem to focus on the original section, so you end up doing Dresden to Meissen and back (dreary 766 cab car in one direction) etc., rather than focus on the Leipzig end. Dreary and mundane route. It should have been enlivened by the DB BR294 but that currently sits with its Journey mode broken (waiting a fix) and most of its jobs seem to be... again on the original section of route.
So nothing has changed on the Dresden - Riesa part? This route is from TSW2 with a change to TOD4 on the TSW4 version. The TSW4 version looks already dated, there are trees looking off for example. Is there already a working snowmask implemented on Dresden Neustadt, or are the platforms still white under the roof?
Quite a few of them are at the Dresden end, but along the new Friedrichshof branch. But it seems that the primary purpose of the extension to Leipzig is to give the ICE-T room to run, and that's about it. What I regret is that they didn't give us a revamped 1442 and some Leipzig S-Bahn in journey mode.
