How do you change the destination blinds? F7 and F8 which is the usual way for most things do nothing for me here. The manual is useless... doesn't even mention it except in the destinations list. Thanks in advance.
Just checked on manuals and the AP pack adds player dest blind function, and this does work on f7/8 but the base unit doesnt
The base unit is a good unit, the AP pack makes it a whole lot better... It will be in the next AP sale whenever that is.
Quick question re the 150/1 that DTG sell. It states it comes with 3 scenarios for SWC but that's no longer sold as they updated it to become SWML Bristol - Swansea. Can I not play the scenarios now with the 150 if I've bought it and have the updated route? I can see it in QD but that's it.

August, likely. I have to consider the 156 then. I didn't foresee that it's common on the North Clyde Line. IF the user buys a 2017 key, the scenarios will work. However, this is a very good question. DTG needs to fix the scenarios to work on the new line. THAT SAID, I wonder if you can copy the scenarios into the new route folder for SWC and they will work? Give that a go and see. If they don't work, then we have a problem.
Well, I got a reply from DTG about the scenarios with the 150/1. They state that the scenarios will not work with the new SWML route as they are effectively new routes and not the same as the SWC route and extension. They claim it will not work because of the licensing issue with the old scenarios and routes. They really need to make this clear with add-ons that require routes that are no longer available and have been re-released as new routes.
This is correct. The best that can be done is the scenarios get remade for the new route. And I'm going to be honest, they SHOULD be. The fact that they have not been is ridiculous.
I agree. It should be done. Any route they have to pull due to licensing which is then rereleased should have any additional loco add-ons updated so that the scenarios can be used on the rereleased route.
I seem to have no scenarios for the DTG 150/1 for SWC at all, despite having both the old SWC route, and the new "SWML" route. I wonder if installing the "new" south wales coastal removes the old scenarios? I never noticed whether this was the case before I got the new one, as I pretty much got the AP enhancement pack for the 150/1 straight away, and never really bothered with the DTG version (other than as a base for the AP pack).
I can't see why installing a newer version of the route would remove scenarios from the older route. Both should still be available in the menu to drive on. They are separate or should be separate routes but they share assets.
Then I've no idea. I have the AP version though, so not really bothered. Just curious more than anything now.
The AP version requires the DTG 150/1. So I agree, you should still have the scenarios. Perhaps check the folder for the route, and check the AP file for the model. You can also check Ts-Tools scenario editing functions and see if the scenarios appear in there. Look for 2U06 -0737 Weston-super-Mare to Cardiff Central 2C85 – 1700 Cardiff Central to Taunton 1F30 – 1723 Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central If they indeed do not appear despite being present, clone them in Ts-Tools. See if they then appear. It's possible also you may need to rebuild your scenario database.
I just uninstalled SWC via DLC manager, and re-installed it, and I have no scenarios at all for it. Surely it's just not reading inside .ap files LOL I have only career scenarios listed in game, and still have nothing for the 150/1 even after re-installing SWC. I shall uninstall and re-intsall the DTG150/1

Ahhh... you have the extended route to Swansea... I do not. As that's the only difference here... it must be that. [edit] From Steam Store: The BR Class 150/1 DMU Add-on includes three career scenarios for the South Wales Coastal: Bristol - Swansea route As I have the base SWC that came with TS2017... that explains it. So it looks like you confirmed that you did not have the required DLC. There you go. You'll be happy to know that, now that I know about this, I have an eye towards eventually seeing what I can do with these three scenarios since I don't think DTG is going to ever rectify this oversight. Also a good excuse for learning the editor. But first, have to spend 24 hours and change downloading individual large UKTS files. Whee.
