I thought I would start a thread saying how wonderful DTG is and hopefully it's allowed to stay open because it seems that gradually any thread which contains comments questioning or criticising them is getting locked.

    • Everything you do is wonderful.
    • I have never found any fault or had cause to question anything you have ever announced or offered for sale.
    • Your software is flawless perfection.
    • I can't wait to buy TSW2, in fact I would willingly pay at least double.

Too much negativity so, somewhere we can all be happy and heap praise.

    Okay.... I will bite.....

No... it obviously isn't. But.... TSW has given me a great deal of pleasure.... And for the price.... £150 or so.... I have certainly managed to get more out of that £150 than very many £150s that I have spent in the past. Is TSW the equivalent of 10x GT Sport, no of course not.

At a personal level, I very strongly suspect that everyone at DTG are actually really lovely people. I have never met any of them, BTW, but from what I have seen online... they seem personable enough to me. Are they completely professional... ? Well.....that I am not so sure of... Are they extremely competent at management...? Well.... I have my views on that. Do they know their trains....? Yes. Do they work hard? Yes they clearly do.

So - I am glad that DTG have created TS1 and TSW, and I am also glad that I (personally) can afford their extremely expensive products.

Yes - I find it difficult to understand why people form this view. History speaks for itself. As for the future... we can but hope....

I know... I am an eternal optimist.... ;-)

    Don't say that too loudly.......

Before TSW2 was announced (at £25), there were people openly stating they were ready to pay £50...... And frankly.... if I was running the business.... knowing that some would pay £50.... I would have taken their money and then dropped it to £25 when the £50 donors ran out..... Which is basically the sales model used now anyway...

And that is why TS1 will be the future focus for my funds (£350 so far....), because the prices are at more realistic levels for the content... and the TS1 content is generally fantastic. TS1 being an actual simulator.

Please don't be like that. No is such a negative word and does not have a place in such a positive thread!

No need to be sarcastic. Even I don't agree with this thread.

Are you saying you don't agree with the OP at face value.....? Or......

Are you saying that you don't agree with the thread .... in the context of sarcasm.....?

It's not clear what you are saying, and I'd really like to know.
