Not really, that's one out of 13 points included here, and nowhere near the most important. Having menu or boot options to precompile shaders, not having overly nested menus, decent FPS and resolution options, FOV, all really basic things all games really need to offer.

come on CP2077 was super rough at launch and took a long time to get on tracks and be on the spot is now, i was foul enough to pre order the game and got what i deserved still now is amazing how good it is now but that was thanks to the huge backlash from the fan base that pushed CDPR to make it good, like no mans sky Metro exodus visually and in performance is amazing but the option menus is barebone like high low mid and the res scale and that it, go and check assetto corsa competizione it have more that 30 visual settings. with dlss, FSR, Gen5 TAA, HDR stuff a lot of options this things should stop because it hurts the pc gaming in general, as battaglia said, 2022 was rough for pc gaming and if nothing changes will be living the same thing again and again. time for cut my cake, 41yo today
