While some of these may be useful, this will still require lots of work but the developers. Not going to be easy as mentioned for some of the descriptions for each feature.
Yes and no, they are 13 point on that list and dlss and fsr are the least important of then, TSW suffer from stutter and low performance and lack of option in the graphic menu, many of the points that are mentioned in the video are valid for TSW in general is not just for dlss and fsr. is funny that the best mention from some of those features are coming from console games that were ported to pc ( GoW, Days gone < and DG is an UE4game, Spiderman ) with no mention at all of a pc game with good experience for the user overall is important for us the user to have a good experience in the game and not that we have to be touching or editing internal files or modding the game to make the experience better when it should have come from factory
Not really, that's one out of 13 points included here, and nowhere near the most important. Having menu or boot options to precompile shaders, not having overly nested menus, decent FPS and resolution options, FOV, all really basic things all games really need to offer.
Probably because the video is about how to do PC ports right. Like PS4/5 games ported to pc, for example GoW, Days Gone, Spiderman ...
and that says a lot about how pc gaming is overall, we got better experience from games that came from console that pc games that are actualy from PC
PC ports. Many of their videos about other games for PC are very positive too, just look at games like Metro Exodus oder Cyberpunk, and Cyberpunk being featured in the above video as a positive example aswell.
come on CP2077 was super rough at launch and took a long time to get on tracks and be on the spot is now, i was foul enough to pre order the game and got what i deserved still now is amazing how good it is now but that was thanks to the huge backlash from the fan base that pushed CDPR to make it good, like no mans sky Metro exodus visually and in performance is amazing but the option menus is barebone like high low mid and the res scale and that it, go and check assetto corsa competizione it have more that 30 visual settings. with dlss, FSR, Gen5 TAA, HDR stuff a lot of options this things should stop because it hurts the pc gaming in general, as battaglia said, 2022 was rough for pc gaming and if nothing changes will be living the same thing again and again. time for cut my cake, 41yo today
