If they don't understand the track signs and loco controls please just leave them to stream and influence via their own channels to their demographic. DTG viewers deserve better.
It does frustrate me when people put up YouTube videos of TS2020 and demonstrate how little they know about railways or how to use the simulator. It shows contempt for their audience and a narcissistic streak to their personalities. "Hey guys look at me while I waste your time talking drivel." If I view a YouTube video of TS2020 it's because I want to learn something or be entertained; not watch an idiot drive TS badly. I can do that for myself.
How much of the video do you watch before you decide your time has been wasted? I hardly think it shows contempt, you don't have to be a railway buff or even that knowledgeable to play a train simulator!
I think saying that those who don't know about trains making videos about trains are frustrating is very narcissistic. In fact my favourite videos of Train Simulator are made by NerdCubed, who knows nothing about trains.
Yeah NerdCubed's TS videos were funny because he was acknowledging that he didn't know what he was doing. People who are convincing themselves that they know what they're doing but don't aren't very fun to watch.
