Does anybody knows a dual voltage uk route except 1)London-Faversham 2)North London Line?? Thanks!!!!
Thameslink must be as no third rail above London core. Not sure on Southern routes that go up to Milton Keynes
Thameslink has third rail & overhead wires in Farringdon Station where the Voltage Changeover takes place On the workshop is a Bedford to Brighton route which covers this section The trains from the Southern that go to Milton Keynes are units in the 377/2, 377/5 and 377/7 sub-classes are dual-voltage. They use the line thru Kensington Olympia and change voltage at North Pole Jn on the North London Line. I don't think there is anywhere else that you find Overhead and Third Rail in the UK. Peter
